Brad Sweet is one of the founders of the SSBD Music Festival which boast international headliners such as Griz and Chromeo and was named in 2020 "Best Emerging Festival" by USA Today.

Since attending his first music festival at the age of 14, Brad Sweet has remained enamored with the culture, attention to detail, and boundless creativity put into a festival production. Now the CEO of Same Same But Different, Sweet’s mission is to preserve the festival’s intimacy and community while also attracting new fans.

A lifelong musician, he believes it isn’t the main stage performances that make a festival experience stand out, but rather the side shows, performers, and the connections formed with other people when you allow yourself to get lost in the experience. With SSBD, he’s able to tap into that emotional connection by curating a tight-knit community. As a company leader, Sweet prioritizes the customer experience in every facet of the festival.

In his role, Sweet focuses on cultivating a positive work environment by empowering his team members to excel as well as accomplish their own career goals. Outside of the festival, he also builds upon the company’s promotional brand, Same Same Presents, through which the team holds more events, concerts, and planned festivals.
